(frequently asked questions).

When I go to pick up my HOLD items, they aren't there?  What's the deal?

The library keeps your HOLD items for 7 days, then is required to send them back to the owning library.  So, please when you get the call from Harriet, pick them up ASAP.

Officer Bart O'Shea and Greg will be at the Library on

Monday, January 12th from 1:00 - 1:30. Everyone is welcome.

Gregor (“Greg”) is a Dutch Shepherd, which is a recognized working dog breed in Europe. Greg weighs 85 pounds and his brindle or tiger striped coloration is typical of a Dutch Shepherd. He came to the US from Holland along with Johnny (Officer Jim Donnell’s K9 partner). I started working with Greg in January 2005 at Northern Michigan K9 in upper Michigan. Greg’s main function is locating. He has been trained to locate illegal drugs, evidence and lost or hiding people. As we start our career together, Greg’s strongest area is drug detection. I have been with the Madison Police Department for 15 years, having previously been assigned to patrol, the narcotics unit, the Emergency Response Team and the detective bureau.  Thanks to the Nightoak Family for sponsoring this program.
