The Marshall Community Library will open starting Monday June 1st. We look forward to being able to offer many of our services once again. However, public and staff safety still remain a top priority.
Vulnerable people should continue to stay safe at home.
Sick people should stay home.
We welcome those who wish to use the library, with the understanding that being in this public space carries some level of risk.
We will return to our normal pre-pandemic hours: Mon-Wed 9am-7pm, Thurs-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-3pm.
Our maximum capacity at this time is about 12 people.
Our patron computers are now spaced at least 6 feet apart. Work, school, and personal business needs will be prioritized. Session times may be limited and gaming will not be permitted at this time.
Our stacks will be open for browsing, but much of our seating and all toys have been removed for the time being. Browsers will be asked to take a 'look, don't touch' approach to materials, and to return any materials they pick up to the book drop to undergo 72 hours of quarantine.
We will be selling stamps and accepting pre-paid USPS packages.
Sneezeguards have been installed at the circulation desk.
Staff will be wearing masks to help keep patrons safe. While not required, we ask that patrons wear masks to help keep our staff safe.
Surface, PC, and restroom sanitization procedures are implemented for staff and will be posted for patrons.
The drinking fountain has been turned off.
We will still offer curbside service for those uncomfortable entering the library.
We will attempt to reserve 9-10am Mon-Wed for vulnerable patrons. Please help us out and respect this effort.
